Inclusion and Education Specialist

I provide technical support and specialized services in inclusive education, disability inclusion, and child development. My experience includes supporting children with disabilities and additional learning needs, conducting functional and developmental assessments, developing individualized support plans, and providing referrals to appropriate specialized services.

My expertise includes:

- Inclusive education and disability inclusion within education and community-based programs. - Identification of children with disabilities and children at risk of developmental or learning difficulties. - Conducting assessments and using appropriate screening and assessment tools. - Developing and following up on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and individualized support strategies. - Providing technical guidance to teachers and education staff on inclusive classroom practices. - Applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, and reasonable accommodations. - Supporting children with developmental, behavioral, communication, and learning difficulties. - Developing classroom strategies, visual supports, sensory strategies, and behavior-support approaches. - Providing referrals and coordinating with specialized services, including rehabilitation, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and psychosocial support. - Monitoring children's progress and adapting interventions according to their individual needs. - Training and coaching teachers and staff on disability inclusion, inclusive education, child protection, and classroom strategies. - Supporting programs to improve accessibility and participation of children with disabilities. - Coordination with parents, teachers, case workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate follow-up and continuity of support.

Professional Experience

I have practical experience working within humanitarian and education programs, supporting the inclusion of children with disabilities across multiple learning and community-based centers. My work combines psychological counseling, special education, disability inclusion, assessment, referral, case follow-up, teacher support, and capacity building.
