I am writing to express my interest in the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator / Customs Clearance position.

I have extensive experience in shipping, logistics, and customs coordination since 2013.

My background includes handling import, export, re-export, and cross-trade shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs authorities, preparing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and managing Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading (BLs), and Air Waybills (AWBs).

I also have experience with trade agreements between Lebanon and Arab countries, as well as EUR.1 Certificates and Approved Exporter Statements for Europe.

My knowledge includes:

GAFTA (Greater Arab Free Trade Area): Understanding the requirements for preferential customs treatment, including Arab Certificates of Origin and rules of origin.

EFTA: Familiar with Certificates of Origin and preferential trade arrangements between Lebanon and EFTA member countries.

Key responsibilities and experience include:

Coordinating import, export, re-export, and cross-trade shipments.

Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation.

Handling commercial invoices, packing lists, AWBs, BLs, HS Codes, weights, and country-of-origin requirements.

Applying Incoterms and international shipping procedures.

Coordinating shipments between Lebanon, Cyprus, Europe, the UK, and Arab countries.

Managing cross-trade shipments to Mozambique, Liberia, and Côte d'Ivoire (Abidjan).

Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers.

Following up on shipment status and payment terms.

Additionally, I have arranged with a freight forwarder to receive training on carrier pricing and freight costing + on Najem system.
